The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in partnership with the Council of State Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE) and the South East European Centre for Surveillance and Control of Infectious Diseases (SECID), organized the training course “Improving Influenza Program Management Practices” which was held on March 26th – March 29th, 2018 in Zagreb, Croatia.

                                                                                                                                                                                     In the framework of the fifth year of the implementation of the Project “Surveillance and Response to Avian and Pandemic Influenza”, funded by Center of Disease Control Prevention (CDC), on 12 February 2018, in Tirana, was organized a meeting regarding Revision of Pandemic Influenza plan.

Influenza Activities, 23-24 February in Kosovo*






Influenza activities were organized in Kosovo* during February, in the framework of the Project “Surveillance and Response to Avian and Pandemic Influenza’, funded by Centre of Disease Control Prevention (CDC).

“Annual Influenza season Meeting”, on 23 February 2018 gathered together specialist from sentinel Sites, Epidemiologist, Infectologist, Pediatrician, specialist   from IUC, Pulmologist and GP.

During the meeting the main topics discussed were:

CORDS Conference, Bangkok, Thailand, 29-30 January 2018

SECID representatives took part on CORDS 2018 Conference held in Bangkok, Thailand on the 29th and 30th January 2018. This event was organized by Connecting Organizations for Regional Disease Surveillance (CORDS), The Rockefeller Foundation, and Ending Pandemics (formerly Skoll Global Threats Fund).
