On 3 February 2016, was held the meeting on “Proposals to expand estimates of national influenza vaccine coverage for target groups in Albania” with participants from the sentinel  health care centers  from Shkodra and Tirana, Directories of Public Health from Shkodra and Tirana, Institute of Public Health, WHO Albania and SECID. The meeting was organized from IPH, in collaboration with WHO HQ and SECID.

Albania, final meeting on the evaluation of the administration of multiple injectable vaccines in a single visit, 24 November 2015

On 24 Novemebr 2015 at Hotel Tirana International took place the final meeting on the evaluation of multiple injectable vaccines administration in the same visit. The meeting aimed to present the results of the assessment of health care providers’ and caregivers’ acceptance of the introduction of three injectable vaccines in a single visit in Albania.

WHO workshop on Defining disease burden and decision-making for seasonal influenza vaccination, 25–29 August 2014, Tbilisi, Georgia

This workshop welcomed national influenza surveillance personnel, national immunization programme managers and chairs and secretaries of national immunization technical advisory groups from: Albania, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Russian Federation and Ukraine.

Seminar “Prevention of Cervical Cancer in Albania – Screening and Vaccination”

This event took place following the Roundtable Meeting Lobbing of Parties of Interest to Support the Prevention of Cervical Cancer (November the 6th 2013, Tirana), which was finalized with the signing of the Declaration of Wisdom

The Seminar was organized with the support of SECID, GSK, MSD, UNFPA, ACPD.
