A Multi-Country Workshop on Public Health Policies on Migration and Health was organized in Tirana, Albania on 19–20 March 2015 by the Technical Assistance Information Exchange instrument of the European Commission (TAIEX) in cooperation with the Regional Health Development Centre (RHDC) on Surveillance and Control of Infectious Diseases and Institute of Public Health, Albania.
The workshop had close to 60 participants from the Member States of the SEE Health Network, Kosovo* and Turkey.
Southeast European Center for Surveillance and Control of Infectious Diseases – SECID, in cooperation with the Institute of Public Health in Tirana – IPH, organised a multi-disciplinary cross-border workshop on Zoonoses, which took place on 12 & 13 March 2015 in Prizren Kosovo*.

On the 27th of January 2015, Dr Nina Rodic Vukmir, Influenza Manager in the Republic of Srpska (BiH), visited East Sarajevo General Hospital and held a meeting with a hospital management team as well as with the Head of the Departments and Chief Nurses.
In order to be prepared for the start of the influenza season and the official start of sentinel surveillance, on 25.09.2014 in the premises of the Institute of Public Health of Macedonia, ILI and SARI sites trainings were conducted.
On 22nd December in Tirana, at the Institute of Public Health took place ILI/SARI Workshop on Influenza Surveillance.
25 participants (epidemiologists, virologists) from IPH, the Infectious Hospital of Tirana, the Tirana Lung Disease Hospital and from regional health centers of the country have attended the workshop.
The South East European Centre for Surveillance and Control of Infectious Diseases (SECID-SEEHN), organized a meeting with selected experts and professionals of SEE Countries on 2&3 December 2014, in Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Center, Italy.
A 5-day training course on Introduction to Laboratory Quality Management and the Laboratory Quality Stepwise Implementation (LQSI) tool for National Influenza Centres took place in Tirana, Albania from 17th to 21st November 2014.
The South East European Centre for Surveillance and Control of Infectious Diseases (SECID-SEEHN), has organized a Meeting with Countries of South East Europe (SEE) on 20-21st November 2014, in Tirana, Albania. WHO EURO also participated in the meeting.
On 29 – 30 October 2014, in Tirana, Albania took place One Health Leishmaniasis Meeting.
